AART Silicone Tubing is manufactured from medical grade silicone elastomer intended for both short-term and long-term applications. AART Silicone Tubing is essentially non-reactive to body tissue and fluids, soft and pliable with a moisture resistant surface, has a long shelf life, may be bonded to itself and is nonadherent to tissue.

AART Silicone Tubing may be used for perfusion and other circulatory blood handling procedures, suction drainage of surgical wounds, prolonged dialysis or drainage of the peritoneal cavity, temporary tube gastrostomy following abdominal surgery, long-term implantation applications within the body, peristaltic pump and laparascopy insufflation, connecting glass tubing of different bores, and other uses deemed appropriate by the using surgeon.
